I was looking for a simple but practical pen, marker and pencil holder for the work area in my home. I like this Pen Gear Pen Cup. It is plain white with a matte finish. The logo is grey but small and discreet in the far lower right corner. The holder has two sections. One is slightly larger for thicker markers and the other is thinner for pens and pencils. Together the sides can hold around thirty pens and pencils of various sizes. The square shape keeps the holder sturdy and I was happy to find that even with a few heavier pens the holder does not tip over or become unbalanced. The overall quality is good. The plastic is thick and durable and I would think with normal use this holder should last a very long time. Of course, as much as I like the white, the inside of the holder will get visible pencil and pen marks. After washing off a few pencil marks I can tell that with a good scrubbing most marks will come clean. The biggest benefit of having this holder is that is is helping my work desk become just that much closer to being organized.
