I was looking for an extremely short, cheap, no-frills nightstand to place next to my futon on the floor. This is a good choice for that. If you have a bed that isn’t on the floor, you might not be interested in this. If you want a low nightstand with a high-end look, this might not be your thing either. It is really, really short. It looks fine, though screws are visible (speaking of screws, the assembly process is ridiculously easy). It’s holding, currently, a can of water, a lamp, a to-do list pad and pen on top, and a journal and headphones on the bottom — no sturdiness issues with this level of stuff. I’m very pleased with it.
