A hot glue gun is one of those things that I feel like I need to use like 3 or 4 times a year and I’ve never had one, until now! I’m not a crafty person, but there’s absolutely times when a dab of hot glue would solve a small household or automotive problem. Most recently I went to adjust the rear-view mirror on my classic muscle car and I nearly ripped the rubber/vinyl housing right off the aluminum back plate. A few days later this little Gorilla Glue gun showed up from Amazon and I hot-glued that mirror right back onto it’s housing in a few short minutes. Then, the next day, I was replacing a turn signal bulb on the same car and I actually broke part of the light socket in it’s housing (it’s 50 years old). I thought about gluing it back in for like… 10 seconds and decided that was a dumb idea. Then glued it back in 2 minutes later. It worked beautifully. I bought a replacement light socket, but I kinda don’t want to do it “the right way” now because the glue worked so well…It’s small, easy to grip, easy to use, gets hot plenty fast and came with more glue sticks than I think I’ll ever use. There’s a small light on the base of the gun that lets you know it’s plugged in and getting hot. It has two heat settings so if you’re doing delicate work it won’t get quite as hot. It comes with a nice little “kickstand” so you can prop it up while it heats up and it folds out of the way if you need the extra clearance for maneuverability or whatever. I glued my turn signal back together with it, so it’s gotta be pretty good. Get one.
